Hongjoong as Cheer Bear
Cheer Bear is an extremely happy care bear who wants to see others making the most of their lives. Cheer Bear is always around to make sure her friends are in a cheerful mood and she will let anyone feel left out or down on their luck. She carries around the hope for a better world and wants the bears around her to see the brighter side of life.
Hongjoong became an idol because he wants to influence others and express energy that other people can pick up on and take with them. Although he may be considered strict, Hongjoong has a large heart and always makes sure his members are being cared for appropriately. He wants to be sure everyone is happy and in good spirits to ensure they are staying true to themselves and putting their best foot forward. One thing we know about Hongjoong is that he will always fight for people who need it most: Hongjoong actively supports campaigns such as Happy Hippie Foundation that helps young people fight against injustice, Dearheart campaign that sends funding to help treat and fight diseases like cancer, and the Polished Man campaign that works to bring an end to domestic violence against children and women.
Hongjoong is setting a good example for the people who follow him and he is working to create a positive, inclusive, and comfortable environment for those around him. Just like Cheer Bear, Hongjoong just wants everyone to be happy, feeling accepted, and looking forward to the life that lies ahead. He wants to contribute to bettering the world and he does so by setting an example for his fans. He is a strong leader who fosters a safe and happy environment that doesn’t allow for anyone to be left behind.
